PATH Family Center

Last week I met with Dr. Gabriel and his staff at the PATH Family Center on Staten Island.  I was pleased to find a caring and dedicated staff lead by a wonderful, open minded physician.  The services offered at the PATH Center are very comprehensive.  Dr. Gabriel is the ONLY DAN doctor on Staten Island.  The PATH Center provides a very needed service to the families on Staten Island.  Please check out their website to see what is going on at this state-of-the-art facility.

WEEKLY TIP - How to unplug your kid

 I love this handout discussing how to "unplug" your child.  What I really love about it is that the majority of steps talk about promoting other skills and looking at your usage as a parent.  We all know that screens are here to stay.  However, having balance and rules about the use of those screens is vital.
